Boomerang Kids are registered with Brighton & Hove Council to offer Universal and Extended Early Years Free Entitlement for children from the term following their 3rd birthday.
We also offer the Free Entitlement to eligible 2 year-olds.
Universal Funding is offered to all 3 and 4 year old's. We offer funded sessions, up to a maximum of 5 hours per day, 15 hours per week or to a total allowance not exceeding 570 hours per annum.
We stretch the entitlement over 51 weeks of the year on what we call an ‘All Year Round Basis’ (AYR).
Term time places are available but very limited.
Boomerang Kids will guide you through the application process and supply you with the necessary claim forms to complete.
From September 2017, some 3 and 4 year olds whose parents are working have been entitled to an additional 15 hours per week. This is called the 'Extended' or '30 hours' Entitlement which became statutory under the Childcare Act 2016 and means an allowance not exceeding 1140 stretched across 51 weeks of the year.
Boomerang Kids only offer the Extended Entitlement on an All Year Round basis.
Please see the links below for details on how to claim and any further information.
Boomerang Kids are also registered to accept payments from the HMRC Tax Free Childcare Scheme. This is for working families, including the self-employed, in the UK - with children under the age of 12 (or under 17 if disabled).
